From Miniature to Massive

From Miniature to Massive – studies in ink and acrylic

Sunday February 22nd 2015. 10.00 am – 4.00pm.  Venue: The Old Kimberley Centre, 70 Kimberley Road, Levin.

Drive through the white brick entrance for approximately 30 metres then turn right and head across the tarmac towards the balloons. 🙂

This workshop is directed at the beginner and those with some creative leanings.  Using ink and working in a small scale we will use pen and coloured ink to produce an illustration style image.  From this we will enlarge and using acrylic and large brushes we will produce a colourful reproduction of the miniature study.  This workshop will help you to loosen up with larger brushwork and also appreciate the finer and delicate work of ink and pen. With step-by-step instructions, you can’t go wrong. Bring your lunch (microwave available). Wear old clothes as  sometimes a little messy.

I prefer to keep workshop numbers small which allows me to offer more one-to-one support.  There will be five places available on this workshop.  Looking forward to a great day!
NB: Placement on the course is confirmed upon payment. Cost: $60 (including all materials).
