It's surprising just how many variations of textures you can find out walking. Some beautiful forms and colours within these images to translate into drawings.
It's been a while since I have picked up the paints; inspired by the music and atmosphere of this amazing festival I have made a few abstract pieces and a wee sketch of the surroundings.
A big thank you to Abby who inspired me last week to try my hand at plein air painting - so today armed with my bucket of acrylic, brushes, and mdf boards I trotted off to investigate Kimberley views and play with colour...was energising!
