On a chilly damp day I can't help but use warm vibrant colours, they literally draw me in! So here is a little colour to brighten up your day. These are a series of 6x6" semi abstracted floral studies.
It's usually the same, you just play about in your sketchbook relaxed and carefree and it comes out better than expected, but it's on paper that is too thin to frame. There are an incredible variety of dahlia currently in bloom. My particular favourites are the loose spikey varieties.
